Up to now, I have written about the candidates running for Collier County Commission, School Board, Florida Attorney General and Commissioner of Agriculture, Collier County judge, and most recently, Congressional Districts 19 and 26….
Incumbent Republican Mario Diaz-Balart is running for election in Florida’s new Congressional District 26. He’s being challenged by Darren Aquino of Naples. The winner will face Democrat Christine Alexandria Olivo in November.
Democrats Aramis Ayala, James Lewis, and Daniel Uhlfelder are running to be Florida’s next Attorney General. The winner will face incumbent Republican Ashley Moody in November. The position is one of three members of the Florida Cabinet.
Republicans Wilton Simpson and Jim Shaw and Democrats Naomi Esther Blemur, J.R. Gaillot, and Ryan Morales are running to be Florida’s next Commissioner of Agriculture. The position is one of three members of the Florida Cabinet.
Pamela Barger and Chris Brown are running Collier County Judge Group 3. All Collier County voters regardless of party affiliation may vote in the nonpartisan election. The candidate that receives the majority of the votes will be declared the winner.
Reg Buxton, Chris Hall, Gerald Lefebvre, and Nancy Lewis are running for the Collier Board of County Commissioners from District 2. Only registered Republicans in District 2 may vote in this election. The winner will face Democrat Bebe Kanter in November.
Arthur Boyer, Jackie Keay, Timothy Moshier, incumbent Roy Terry, and Ana Turino are running for Collier County School Board from District 5. All Collier County voters may vote in this nonpartisan election regardless of where they live or their party affiliation. Election Day is August 23.
Jana Greer, Kelly Lichter, and incumbent Jen Mitchell are running for Collier County School Board from District 3. All Collier County voters may vote in this nonpartisan election regardless of where they live or their party affiliation. Election Day is August 23.
Kimberly Ann Boobyer, Jerry Rutherford, and incumbent Jory Westberry are running for Collier County School Board from District 1. All Collier voters may vote in this nonpartisan election regardless of where they live or their party affiliation. Election Day is August 23.
